    Release date:2018-04-03 03-56-44

Human sterilization with chemical disinfectants began in the early 19th century. After the first generation of chemical disinfectant bleaching powder was introduced in 1820, it was mainly used in the treatment of drinking water disinfection and wound infection, and achieved good results, opening up the first milestone of chemical sterilization. Since then, people have discovered the second generation of disinfectant ethylene oxide, the third generation of disinfectant glutaraldehyde. A new generation of highly effective chemical disinfectants has finally come out in a thousand calls, this is the chlorine dioxide known as the fourth generation of disinfectant.

Chlorine dioxide was born in 1811. It was not sterilized in the early years. It was not until 1940, after the industrial production of sodium hypochlorite, it began to be used on a large scale. In 1940, Niagara Falls in the United States took the lead in using it to treat drinking water, achieving good results, and then quickly spread to the world. People have discovered that when chlorine is used to disinfect drinking water, organic matter in the water will react with chlorine gas to form organic chlorine compounds. Organochlorine will accumulate in the human body and cause chronic cumulative poisoning. It will also cause cancer. The World Environmental Protection Alliance will soon It is completely forbidden to use chlorine gas for disinfection of drinking water. It is recommended to use chlorine dioxide, a highly effective disinfectant with strong oxidizing properties, for disinfection of drinking water. Chlorine dioxide has been classified as an AI grade disinfectant by the United Nations Health Organization (WHO).

China's application of chlorine dioxide disinfection technology began in the 1980s. In 1987, the Guangdong Provincial Health Supervision Department approved it for food disinfection, preservation, and food equipment and utensils. In 1990, the Shanghai Health Administration approved it for water treatment, food processing, aquaculture, deodorization and so on. The Ministry of Health of China also clearly stated before 2000 that chlorine dioxide should be gradually replaced by chlorine dioxide for disinfection of drinking water.
