In Beijing, 36 institutions including hospitals and specialist outpatient departments were randomly selected for water quality testing of oral treatment stations. The pass rate was only 20.49%, even lower than the quality of domestic water. Among them, the qualification rate of five tertiary general hospitals is zero, and almost all of them have microbial contamination problems. The pass rates of the secondary general hospitals, specialist hospitals, and specialist outpatient clinics were 14.29%, 39.53%, and 24.07%, respectively. Dental treatment water is contaminated, causing serious infections in dental patients when they see teeth, and some even infected with infectious diseases such as hepatitis B. Dental treatment has become a high-risk area for hospital infection.
According to Peng Youwei, director of the Oral Center of Hubei Provincial People's Hospital, the dental comprehensive treatment platform consists of a narrow and slender tube, because if the dental chair is used for a long time, there is bacteria inside the dental chair and it remains in the water pipe. Because the dental chair The tube is just like the bloody tubules of the body. It is very thin and staggered. It is very long and thin. If you do not clean the pipe of the water in the chair, the bacteria can form a layer of bacteria on the front of the patient. It may be used by a patient.
The Beijing Stomatological Hospital of Capital Medical University first used the Wangwang “Water God” sterilization solution (slightly acidic hypochlorous acid water) to sterilize the dental chair waterway. The monitoring found that the slightly acidic hypochlorous acid water is harmless to the human body and the environment, so that the qualified water quality of the dental chair reaches 99.3%, so that the patient can safely look at the teeth. As one of the highest level medical institutions in Hubei Province, the Department of Stomatology of Hubei Provincial People's Hospital has a total of 11 clinics and 37 sets of “Water God” system application platforms for 37 dental chairs. Each set of intermittent application system can cover the maximum. 9 dental chairs.
